idk what to do? please help.?
ok......all the women in my family have indometriosis and my obgyn put me on birth control to prevent damage but she told me if it didnt help the pain and irregularness that i would have to have surgery to burn the affected spots off. so latley ive been having a lot of pain and cramps in the middle of the month and i think i need to get checked but im scared to because im under 18 and i dont want my mom to find out that i am sexually active. would my obgyn tell my mother or would she keep it between us? like patieint client confidentiality?
the most important reason i dont want my mom knowing is because my boyfriend is over 18 so its kinda illeagal...
You do have privacy with the doctor pertaining to your sexual activity and they won't tell your parents.
